The use of vanadium in the battery energy storage sector is expected to experience disruptive growth this decade on the back of unprecedented vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) deployments.
It is considered to be one of the most promising energy storage technologies. Rongke Power has over 450 patents in vanadium flow battery technology, saying their flow battery systems are operational in key regions globally.
Vanadium batteries are long-lasting and economical energy storage systems. They are the technology of choice for energy storage, and Vecco is integrating the mining of high purity vanadium and alumina with the manufacturing of battery components to support the global decarbonisation transition.

It is considered to be one of the most promising energy storage technologies.
